Dr. Kim then proceeded to pursue dentistry at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). During his time at UCSF, Dr. Kim served in various organizations, outreach programs to promote dental health, education of the residents of the Bay Area, and beyond. Dr. Kim received numerous awards and publications for his service and research on CO2 laser, he was recognized for his clinical excellence and community service with UCSF Clinton P. Ulrich Award.
