Dr. Kim received numerous awards and publications for his service and research on CO2 laser, he was recognized for his clinical excellence and community service with UCSF Clinton P. Ulrich Award.
After completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCSF, Dr. Kim received his certificate of Periodontology Specialty at UCSF where he also received a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences studying the benefits of platelet-rich-fibrin (PRF) and autologous fibrin glue (AFG).
